If you are using a Windows machine, you can evaluate Saké applications without the trouble of installing a servlet runner or reconfiguring your web server. Saké comes packaged with its own embedded web server, which is pre-configured and ready to run Saké. By using the embedded server, you can have an evaluation copy of Saké up and running within minutes after downloading the distribution. We strongly recommend using the embedded server from a Windows machine to evaluate Saké applications, even if your eventual target server will not be a Windows system.

To use the embedded web server on a Windows machine, simply install the Windows distribution. Once the installation is complete, you should have a new item in the "Programs" section of your Windows "Start" menu called "Endymion Saké".
